This was a re-styling exercise for the T140 Bonneville which was designed by Triumph Motorcycles America to give a more American look to the Bonneville.
Amongst other modifications, it had a lowered chassis and a smaller rear wheel, a stepped seat, black engine, and other cosmetic styling.
The standard TSX engine was out of the T140ES with electric start.
A total of 381 were produced with 100 staying in the UK, 200 going to America, and 81 to the rest of the world. The Meriden factory closed before production could restart in 1983.
